ooc: hiatus

[[ hey meg-community! I’m sorry to announce that this account is gonna go on hiatus. Quite honestly, this is not the group i remember. It seems to have turned sort of unfriendly, so I’m just formally saying that I’ll be taking a breather until things cool down for a bit. I’ll still be logging on every once and a while but there seems to be a lot of drama going on and I’m in this for fun, not for bickering. THIS IS NOT DIRECTED AT A PARTICULAR PERSON! I’m just noticing overall that in the past few months there have been quite a bit of fights going around that I don’t want to be a part of. So… Electricity is officially taking a vacation. Be back soon, hopefully!

Electricity’s Official File

Name: Electricity (real name: Justine Tess)

Occupation: None 

Birth date and Age: Unknown; about 24

Parents(Alive/Dead?): Her father is dead (has been for a long time) and she killed her mother.

Race: Human (genetically modified)

Ethnicity: White

Hair Color: yellow, fades into white. Has a sort of glow to it.

Eye Color: The eye whites are a lighter yellow than the rest of her eyes- she has no black in them. She has very good vision despite the odd coloration.

Sexuality: Bisexual

Height: 5’6

Weight: 135 lbs, curvy

Likes: Chaos, breaking laws, alcohol, cigarettes, flirting, teasing citizens, starting riots, starting electrical fires, guns, bombs, grenades, swords, knives, piercings, causing pain, seeing fear in someone’s eyes, excitement

Dislikes: cops, the government, scientists, doctors, the megaminds (or anyone with blue skin/large heads), incredibly hyper people, rules, authority, heroes

Powers: She has a remarkable amount of electricity pulsing throughout her body, self-generating. It allows her to shoot bolts of electricity, and control it with great ease. She can control the type of shock- whether it should be lethal or not, as well as the size of the bolt. When touched, the other person generally gets a small tingle all through their body.

Her voice has a synthesized sound to it as well, though it doesn’t do much other than sound intriguing. 

Electricity has also gotten increased speed and agility. She is now quite the acrobat, able to jump and run from high rooftops or lamp posts. She enjoys this method of travel as it makes her feel very alive.

Weaknesses: Any contact with water is painful for Electricity. She also can not fight back well when blocked by a force that does not conduct electricity, so villains and heroes alike should keep that in mind.

Fav Color: light aqua/blue, white, yellow 

Brief History:

Previously known as Justine Tess. Her mother, Doctor Samantha Tess, was previously a government employee tasked with making an eternal energy source.

It was found that the only way possible was to have the host be a living subject. The project was shut down for fear of causing uproar with the public, and Dr. Tess was furious. 

It is believed that soon after Justine Tess committed suicide, and Dr. Tess took her Justine Tess to an abandon laboratory where they made her into a “living power plant” of sorts. The girl, in a fit of rage and fear, broke out and murdered everyone in the lab. Her mother was at home, talking to reporters about the so-called death of her daughter. 

Justine was under the impression that Metro City’s criminal Megamind was responsible for her transformation, and while hunting him down she was intercepted and placed in Metro City’s insane asylum. She stayed there for four years before breaking out just as she was being prepped for a lobotomy. Justine murdered anyone she came in contact with before releasing all inpatients and making her own escape.

Recently Doctor Tess was found dead near a run-down power plant. The cause of death was undetermined, but there were severe burns all along her body. It is our professional opinion that Justine Tess, now calling herself Electricity, killed her mother after realizing the truth of her past. 

Soon after Electricity was apprehended again and placed in the same Asylum. She broke out just one month after being there, and has been terrorizing the city ever since.

here’s an old ref. She has gray skin, a fohawk-type thing. Her hair is yellow but fades to white. Her eyes are very odd- just use the image as a ref. She has a tail, seen there. She’s skinny with a sort of heart-shaped face (I can never get it to look right though hhnnggg). Her fingers and toes fade to a dark gray because it of the electricity she shoots out of them all the time.
